What I'm Reading: It's in His Heart
I really enjoyed It's in His Heart by Shelly Alexander. This book was a cross between chick lit and romance, and Amazon has it listed as a romantic comedy. It's a great, light summer read!
Ella shows up late one night at the cabin she owned with her late husband. She's muddy, wet, and furious, and wants nothing more than to relax and be left alone for the summer to finish her next novel. The last person she expects to see there is Cooper, her late husband's best friend. There's a thin line between love and hate, and although she can't stand the guy, she finds him utterly irresistible.
Ella and Cooper both have secrets they're hiding--the biggest of which might be their mutual attraction to one another. There were some definite funny situations in the book as well as plenty of romance. I loved this story and recommend it as a great book to add to your summer reading!
